The First Presbyterian Church and Cedar Hills are pleased to offer a half-day retreat on Christian contemplative prayer on Saturday, Jan. 6, from 8:45 a.m.- 1 p.m., at the First Presbyterian Church located at 417 N Fourth Ave. The retreat team presenting is Pastor Andy Kennaly and Sharon Anderson from FPC, and Pastor Colin Moody and Deborah Dickerson from CH.

The God in Us and Us in God Retreat is for anyone, experienced or new to contemplative practice. All are welcome to participate. Come join with the group as participants explore and practice methods of Christian contemplative prayer. Leave the post-holiday blahs behind, and come to a quiet, sacred space to explore various practices of Christian contemplation.
