Barbara Lynn Trout, 63

Barbara Lynn Trout, 63, passed away on Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2017, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 11, 2017, at the Seneacquoteen Cemetery.

Barbara was born on April 3, 1954, in Lakeport, Calif., to Roy and Jean Sutton. She grew up and attended schools in Sagle and Sandpoint, Idaho, graduating from Sandpoint High School in 1972. After high school she worked at the Discount Warehouse.

Barbara married Paul Trout on Sept. 8, 1979, in Sagle. She cooked at the schools, Yoke’s deli, and at the Bonner County Jail.

She was a proud member of the Bonner County Democrats, and also served as a Girl Scout leader. She enjoyed gardening, flowers, walking the dogs, traveling and holidays; especially Christmas, Fourth of July, and Halloween.

She is survived by her husband, Paul Trout of Sandpoint; a daughter, Lindsay (Stuart) Klein of Boise; two grandchildren, Carson and Calysta Klein; a sister, Judy (Carl) Forgey of Petersburg, Alaska; a brother, Tom Sutton of Sandpoint; and special friends, Emily Smith (Ian David Crickmore) of Seattle and Jolee Smith and her son James of Bellingham.
