| December 20, 2017 12:00 AM

SANDPOINT — Have you always wanted your own small farm?

Beginning Jan. 13, Bonner County Extension will hold a course on how to start your own sustainable small farm. The course includes a combination of online assignments, three full-day in-class sessions, an end of class potluck scheduled for March 29th, 2018, and at least two farm tours with times and locations to be determined.

This course helps new and aspiring farmers take the first steps toward setting goals, assessing resources available (physical, financial, and personal), and exploring enterprises that are the best fit for you and your land. You’ll leave the course with a better understanding of how to make your farm a success. Participants will be exposed to a variety of farming and ranching systems and more
