Andrew P. Blum

Andrew P. Blum passed away en route to the hospital after a motor vehicle accident on Dec. 8, 2017.

Andrew was always happy, there was never a time that he didn’t have a smile on his face. His smile and laughter were contagious. As a father, he was always there whenever his daughter needed him. He was not shy when it came to hard work. He had held many different jobs in his life, but the last three years that he was doing landscaping he found his calling. He took pride in his job, and was always ready for whatever was thrown at him. Andrew was always willing to help whoever needed it, whether it was just for advice or not, he was always there. The last months of his life he was the happiest he had ever been. He found love, and was more involved in his daughter’s life. He was able to be with his family and friends who loved him most.

Andrew is survived by his father, Larry Blum of Spirit Lake, Idaho; and his siblings, Jerod Paulus (Summer), April Malek (Matt), Amber Fortier, Andrea Smith (Dustin), and Mishayla Blum (Chad). He is also survived by his precious daughter, Emma Blum (mother Sadie); his loving fiancé, Bridget Taylor; Brenda Boss, who was a mother to him; and estranged wife, Robin Corridori. Andrew was preceded in death by his mother, Gina Helton.

Private services were held in his honor on Dec. 15, 2017, in Ponderay.
