Bonner County Fair Manager Rhonda Livingstone has been named the Fair Manager of the Year by the Rocky Mountain Associations of Fairs. The group includes Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nebraska, North Dakota, South Dakota, Utah, Washington, and yoming, as well as Alberta and Saskatchewan, Canada.

“It was a huge surprise and the award was presented to me by my daughter, the general manager of the North Idaho State Fair,” Livingstone said of receiving the award. “Receiving this award from my daughter made it even more special.”

Livingstone said being named the Fair Manager of the Year is an honor, especially since it comes from her peers and the association.

The award wasn’t the only major award received by the fair. On Nov. 11, the Bonner County Fair received a second place Summit Award in Division A for a fair photo. Sheena Feidler was presented with that award.

“I was so proud of her and our fair,” Livingsone said.

The fair’s success and honors are due to the support from fairgoers, sponsors, volunteers, 4-H members and leaders, and the awesome community and leaders, Livingstone said.
