SANDPOINT — January is just around the corner, which often means it’s time to start setting goals and seeing how long we can live out our New Year’s resolutions. But if you are like most people, each January you find yourself hitting the reset button wondering if this is the year you will achieve that which you set out to do.
7B Women want to help you begin the new year inspired as we welcome Misty Springer as the group’s guest speaker on Tuesday, Jan. 9. The luncheon meeting begins at 11:45 a.m. at Tango Café in the Columbia Bank building.
Springer, who has a master’s degree in counseling/psychology, is a health coach whose passion is helping women who feel trapped in their body and want to break feel, and women who feel they have much to offer but feel their energy is being sucked dry by the negative barrage of emotions, feelings and self-talk. In her presentation to 7B Women, Springer will give the audience the tools to turn self-sabotage into self-mastery.
“Maybe you have felt like you just don’t have what it takes to stay committed. Or have heard yourself saying, ‘If only I had more willpower then I could … keep the weight off, hit my sales goal, or finally speak my truth without the fear of hurting someone’s feelings,’ ” said Springer. “Unlike what you have been led to believe, there is nothing wrong with you. You don’t need another worn out resolution or planning system.”
7B Women members are looking forward to welcoming Springer and having her share her knowledge.
“We invite members of the community to join us and let Misty Springer help to uncover what is holding you back from reaching your dreams,” said Sherri Lies of the 7B Women committee.
The cost of 7B Women’s monthly luncheon is $21 or $16 if you are a member of 7B Women, Inc. Individual memberships cost $35 per year and can be paid online at the group’s website, 7BWomen.com.
Beginning this month, 7B Women’s monthly luncheons will now be held on the second Tuesday of each month. Please note that due to the high participation in the past and so Tango Café can adequately prepare for the luncheon, pre-registration is highly encouraged.
If people would like an opportunity to promote their business or event at the luncheon, attendees are asked to bring an item to raffle and will be given a “minute with the mic” during the course of the luncheon.
Register online at 7BWomen.com and you can also purchase your raffle tickets ahead of time to avoid standing in line at check-in and optimizing your networking time. Raffle tickets are $1 each or six tickets for $5.
Turning your “I never thought I could” into “I can’t believe I did!” is sure to get you off to a great start in 2018!
