SANDPOINT — A Priest River man was arrested for rape on Sunday.

Martin Louis Glabb is accused of raping a woman on Saturday. The criminal complaint said the alleged victim was unable to resist Glabb due to intoxication.

Glabb, 50, made an initial appearance in Bonner County Magistrate Court on Monday via video feed from the Bonner County Jail. His bail was set at $7,500 and an order was entered forbidding him from contacting the alleged victim.

Details about the crime are being kept under wraps. The case file contains no probable cause affidavit or minutes from the hearing in which the charges were sworn.

Glabb was arrested by Ponderay Police.

A preliminary hearing in the case was set for Wednesday, although there is a request to postpone the hearing until a later date, according to the Idaho Supreme Court Data Repository. The hearing is held to determine whether there sufficient evidence to bind Glabb over to 1st District Court to stand trial.
