Request for a welfare check in the 40000 block of Highway 200 in Hope at 2:28 p.m.

Request for a VIN check in the 3500 block of Highway 2 in Priest River at 3:09 p.m.

Report of a reckless driver northbound in the area of Highway 95 and Upper Pack River Road at 3:56 p.m.

Report of a reckless driver on the bypass on Highway 95 near Sandpoint at 5:52 p.m.

Deputies responded to a slide-off vehicle accident on Highway 2 near Priest River at 6:02 p.m.

An information call was reported on Silver Birch Road in Oldtown at 6:05 p.m.

Report of an animal in traffic in the Oldtown area on Highway 2 at 6:47 p.m.

Misty Schuck of Blanchard was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence on Meadowland Drive in Blanchard at 4:37 a.m.

SANDPOINT POLICE

Jan. 26

A VIN was verified in the 2300 block of Aspen Way at 11:45 a.m.

Donald Geiger, 48, of Sandpoint and Nicki Rainbow, 31, of Sandpoint were both arrested in the Euclid Avenue area at 12:52 p.m. on charges of trafficking heroin and possession of methamphetamine.

A follow-up report was taken in the S. Division Avenue area at 2:55 p.m.

Officers assisted the county on a drug arrest on Euclid Avenue at 12:52 p.m.

An officer contacted an intoxicated male who was harassing passersby in the 200 block of E. Superior Street at 3:39 p.m.

An possibly intoxicated subject left the 200 block of S. First Avenue before the officer arrived at 3:58 p.m.

An officer was unable to locate a reported reckless driver in the area of Great Northern and Baldy Mountain roads at 4:05 p.m.

Officers responded to the scene after several juveniles got into a scuffle while playing in the 1500 block of Pine Street at 4:11 p.m.

A vehicle parked in a driveway in the 3700 block of Grand View Drive was moved after a complaint at 4:52 p.m.

An officer assisted a citizen who was locked out of their vehicle in the area of N. First Avenue and Cedar Street at 5:13 p.m.

Kimberly C. Buckius, 27, of Sandpoint was cited in the 700 block of Fifth Avenue at 7:56 p.m. on an invalid driver’s license charge.

Officers assisted Ponderay Police in the 800 block of Kootenai Cutoff Road at 10:42 p.m.

A railroad maintenance crew was already on scene when the officer arrived in the 1500 block of N. Boyer Road after a reported railroad problem at 11:38 p.m.
