The week of Jan. 22-28 marks 44 years since abortion was ‘legitimized’ in America, with well over 50 million abortions since 1973.
Our nation was founded by those who knew that we owed our allegiance to our creator; where government had an obligation to recognize that all men were created equal and possess rights from God that were not ever to be violated. Without recognizing and honoring the right to life there will be no other rights.
Thomas Jefferson in reference to slavery said, “And can the liberties of a nation be thought secure when we have removed their only firm basis, a conviction in the minds of the people that these liberties are the gift of God? That they are not to be violated but with his wrath? Indeed I tremble for my country when I reflect that God is just: that his justice cannot sleep for ever:” The civil war mostly answered that question in the blood of 625,000 soldiers (more than all World War I and World War II , Korea and Vietnam combined.) What will be the justice of 50-plus million murdered by abortion?
“His justice will not sleep forever.”
