Feb. 2

Joseph A Redl, 32, of Bonners Ferry, was arrested in the 479000 block of Highway 95 at 12:24 a.m. on a charge of providing false information to an officer.

Brandon Hurst, 34, of Libby, Mont., was arrested in the 479000 block of Highway 95 at 12:24 a.m on an outstanding Bonner County warrant and two outstanding Boundary County warrants, and charges of providing false information to a peace officer and possession of paraphernalia.

SANDPOINT POLICE

Feb. 1

A dementia patient was cared for by staff in the 200 block of S. Division Avenue at 5:28 a.m.

Leslie A DePhilippis, 34, of Ponderay was cited on a charge of invalid driver’s license in the area of Ontario Street and Highway 2 at 7:53 a.m.

A table and rocking chair were reported taken from a porch in the 1700 block of Cedar Street at 7:56 a.m.

Two 13-year-old males were charged with possession of marijuana in the 300 block of S. Division Avenue at 8:26 a.m.

An informational report was filed on W. Lake Street in reference to a missing adult female at 12:04 p.m.

Terry L. Roberts, 32, of Springdale, Wash., was arrested in the 200 block on a charge of possession of methamphetamine at 1:17 p.m.

A two-vehicle, non-injury collision was reported in the sea of N. Division Avenue and Hickory Street at 1:31 p.m.

A minor-damage collision occurred in a parking lot in the 700 block of Fifth Avenue at 2 p.m.

Officers were unable to locate the source of a 911 hang-up call in the Pine Street area at 2:06 p.m.

Two adult females were caught shoplifting in the 600 block of Larch Street at 3:29 p.m.

Officers advised it was unknown what set off the alarm in the 400 block of Church Street at 5:11 p.m.

An officer on W. Lake Street answered child custody questions for a citizen at 5:16 p.m.

After a report of suspicious circumstances at 11:23 p.m., an officer checked on what appeared to be abandoned property at the depot. It belonged to a passenger waiting for a train.

Feb. 2

An officer responded to an agency assist in the 479100 block of Highway 95 at 12:24 a.m.

After a request for assistance in the 600 block of N. Boyer Avenue, an officer contacted the residents at 12:47 a.m.; advice was given for long-term care.

An alarm in the 500 block of N. Third Avenue was accidentally tripped at 4:02 a.m.

PONDERAY POLICE

Feb. 1

An officer received a report of a reckless driver in the 478000 block of Highway 95 at 9:40 a.m.

An officer met with a complainant at the Ponderay Police Department on Fontaine Drive at 6:06 p.m. in reference to fraud.

An officer responded to a vehicle collision in the 476841 block of Highway 95 at 6:20p.m.

An officer responded to an alarm in the 300 block of Bonner Mall Way at 7:06 p.m.
