It is apparent that Mr. Santa isn’t familiar with draft deferments. There are thousands of our veterans who have a record of draft deferments. We were college students during the 1960s. Around 1970, President Nixon abolished college deferments and all college students were then eligible for the draft.

Due to his age, President Trump would have fallen under the original law. By declaring President Trump as a draft dodger is disrespecting the veterans who took advantage of college deferments to continue their education before serving their nations in the military.

Instead of misrepresenting facts, we as a country need to pull together to make the United States the best nation in the world again. Put your energy towards helping the new administration and not disrespecting it.

As for the rest of your comments why don’t we give private enterprise a try to see if it will work. We already know what will happen when putting in the hands of the government
