Tindall and a handful of other men were removing thousands upon thousands of pounds of snow from the flat roof, in anticipation of more wet and heavy snow in the forecast. They weren’t alone, as scores of others around the community were also trying to lighten the snow load on roofs to prevent any structural damage from the excessive weight.
