Leonard Martin Sanders, 76

Leonard Martin Sanders was born March 29, 1940, at Santa Barbara, Calif., the son of Raymond Goodfrey and Gladys Jane (Hall) Sanders. He passed away on Feb. 7, 2017, at Fredericktown at the age of 76.

Leonard was preceded in death by his parents, his in-laws, Elva and Wilma Kemp; a son, Brian Sanders; a brother, Howard Sanders; and a sister, Nelda Flynn.

Leonard is survived by his wife, Patricia “Pat” (Kemp) Sanders, whom he married on July 3, 1962, at LaPuenta, Calif.; his daughter, Teresa Spears and husband Dave of Odin, Illinois; a granddaughter, Bailey Spears; and a sister, Dorothy Puffer of Maryville, Wash.

Leonard enjoyed classical music, playing the flute, fishing, working in the shop and tennis.

Visitation will be held at 5 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017 at Follis & Sons Funeral Home.

Memorial services will be held at 6 p.m. on Saturday, Feb. 11, 2017, at Follis & Sons Funeral Home.
