The Panida is offering the community a variety of great entertainment this week.

Two Oscar contenders open on the screen of the Panida and both films are receiving high praise among patrons. “Hidden Figures” is the incredible untold story of Katherine G. Jonson, Dorothy Vaughan and Mary Jackson. Brilliant women working at NASA who served as the brains behind of the greatest operations in space history.

The launch of astronaut of John Glenn into orbit was a stunning achievement that restored the nation’s confidence and was a game changer in the space race. This trio of African American women crossed all gender and race lines to inspire generations to dream big. An all-star cast brings this story to light.
