Miners top Wampus Cats

WALLACE — Wampus Cat freshman Kobe Banks had a big night with 24 points and six assists, but Wallace simply had too much offense, rolling to a 76-54 win over Clark Fork in North Star League boys basketball Thursday night at Wallace High School.
Spencer Jeffres added 10 points and seven assists, T.J. Henderson a season-high 10 points and two steals, and Wade Stevens eight points, four rebounds and three assists for the Wampus Cats (7-11, 4-6 NSL), who will now prepare for the district tournament.
Zack Welsh scored 17, Hunter Gust 16 and Erick Bracklebush 16 for the Miners (12-8), who also wrapped up their regular season.
