Feb. 15

A Sandpoint officer assisted other units with traffic control on Fifth Avenue at 10:31 a.m. while a log spill was cleaned up.

An adult male was given a courtesy transport to the crisis center from N. Third Avenue at 11:39 a.m.

Information regarding phone testing in the 300 block of N. Fourth Avenue was relayed to law enforcement at 11:35 a.m.

The owner of a vehicle left in the 200 block of N. Division Avenue was contacted at 12:16 p.m. and advised to move it.

An officer was unable to locate a reportedly reckless driver in the area of Fifth and Alder at 12:32 p.m.

An officer was unable to locate the source of a 911 hang-up call in the Church Street area at 3:35 p.m.

An officer was unable to catch a dog running at large in the 3700 block of Flightline Way at 4:27 p.m.

Accidental 911 activation was reported on Chestnut Street at 7:30 p.m.

A moose was reported on the loose in the area of Larch and Division at 5:37 p.m.

Feb. 16

Officers contacted two males fighting in the 200 block of Pine Street at 1:24 a.m.; they were actually friends and were issued verbal warnings for fighting in public.

Ryan K. Doty, 30, of Sandpoint, was arrested in the 200 block of E. Superior Street at 2:37 a.m on a charge of driving under the influence.

Feb. 15

An officer responded to the 300 block of Bonner Mall Way for a welfare check at 12:12 p.m.

An officer responded to a citizen assistance request in the 476700 block of Highway 95 at 6:07 p.m.

An officer responded to a citizen assist in the 500 block of Kootenai Cutoff Road at 7:24 p.m.

An officer responded to a report of hazardous conditions in the area of Tibbetts Lane and Highway 95 at 10:20 p.m.
