Dec. 27

An officer advised at 8:44 a.m. that the victim of a battery reported in the 200 block of S. First Avenue did not want to pursue charges.

Residents in the 500 block of S. Boyer Avenue were issued a warning against shoveling snow into the roadway at 9:54 a.m.

Avista was notified of a low-hanging wire in the 600 block of Alder Street at 11:05 a.m.; the line was flagged to warn drivers.

An officer was unable to locate a male going through mailboxes in the 800 block of Cedar Street after a report of suspicious circumstances at 12:42 p.m.

Accidental 911 activation was reported on Olive Avenue at 1:05 p.m.

A resident in the 900 block of Ruth Avenue was advised at 2:28 p.m. to go through civil court to resolve their problem.

An officer assisted a disabled motorist in the courthouse parking lot on S. First Avenue at 5 p.m.

After a three-vehicle, chain-reaction collision in the area of Highway 2 and Michigan Street at 5:56 p.m., an officer advised that there were no injuries.

After a driver struck two different vehicles in the 300 block of N. Second Avenue at 7:25 p.m.and, then left the scene, an officer advised the incident was under investigation.

An officer responded after a report of an ex taking a vehicle from the 700 block of Monroe Avenue without permission at 8:02 p.m.

A reportedly reckless driver in the 200 block of E. Superior was contacted at 9:37 p.m. and issued a verbal warning

Papers were served in the 300 block of N. Fourth Avenue at 10:40 p.m.

Officers contacted a male and female involved in a verbal domestic on Culvers Drive at 11:11 p.m.; nothing physical occurred.

The owners of several vehicles in the W. Lake Street area were contacted and moved them for the snow plows at 1:08 a.m.

After an alarm was reported in the 1800 block of Industrial Drive, an officer advised the building was secure.

A disorderly female from Washington was removed from an Amtrak train at their request after a complaint jn the Railroad Depot Road area at 4:38 a.m.
