Linda Martha Quenzer, 74

Linda Martha Quenzer, 74, passed away at home on Tuesday, Dec. 20, 2016, in Ponderay, Idaho.

Memorial services will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 7, 2017, at Lakeview Funeral Home with Pastor Johnathan Cross officiating. A potluck reception to follow at the Ponderay Event Center.

Linda was born on Aug. 16, 1942, to Allen and Martha Pearson in Burlington, Vt. Linda was raised in Lake Ronkonkoma, Long Island, N.Y., and graduated from Sachem High School in 1960. A year later, on Oct. 29, 1961, she married the love of her life, Charles Quenzer.

In 1977, the couple moved with their three children to Sandpoint, Idaho. Linda worked as an office manager at Sandpoint Furniture for over 20 years. She enjoyed spending time with her friends in the Red Hat Society and the Sassy Sisters. Stain glass work was one of her favorite hobbies. Linda had a pair of green thumbs and a passion for gardening and flowers.

Linda is survived by her husband, Charles Quenzer of Ponderay; her three children, Denise (Bruce) Ander-son of Eaton-ville, Wash., Linda Jean “LJ” (Scott) Sams of Sand-point, Idaho, and Curtis (Bobbi) Quenzer of Sandpoint; her five siblings, Richard Pearson of Long Island, N.Y.; Curtis (Linda) Pearson of Sandpoint, Marty (Kevin) Monahan of Sandpoint, Janie (Ralph) Swanson of Farmingville, Long Island, N.Y., and Chrissy Pearson of Las Vegas, Nev.; 11 grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.
