Classic and skate XC ski lessons offered

SANDPOINT — Join the Sandpoint Nordic Club for a pair of introductory cross country ski lessons.

Classic Ski lessons will take place on Wednesday, Jan. 18 from 9-10:30 a.m., and a Skate Ski lesson will be offered on Friday, Jan. 20 from 10-11:30 a.m. Each 1.5 hour lesson is $17 per person, and both lessons will be held at the University of Idaho property.

Participants must supply their own gear, including skis, boots, and poles. Classic Ski Rentals are available from Outdoor Experience or the Alpine Shop, while Schweitzer has both classic and skate ski rentals at the Source.

Pre-register for one or both lessons by Friday, Jan. 13 at the Sandpoint Parks and Rec office (1123 Lake St.) in City Hall. For further details on this program, please call 263-3613.
