Matt Pumnea, 59, was cited on a charge of inattentive driving in the area of South Marian Avenue and East Valley Street South in Oldtown at 7:35 p.m.

A rescue call was requested on the 278 Road area at 8 p.m.

Ashley Tauber, 28, was arrested on an outstanding Bonner County misdemeanor warrant in the 3000 block of Colburn Culver Road at 8:26 p.m.

Deputies responded to the 3000 block of Highway 2 in Priest River for a report of fireworks at 8:41 p.m.

Report of an agency assist in the 476000 block of Highway 95 in Ponderay at 12:27 a.m.

Jacqueline Wheeler of Sandpoint was arrested in the 1100 block of Highway 2 at 12:37 a.m. on a charge of driving under the influence.

A slide-off accident was reported on Highway 2 in Oldtown at 12:37 a.m.

Dec. 31

An animal problem was reported on Park Avenue at 8:15 a.m.

A civil dispute was reported on Pine Street at 9:40 a.m.

Disorderly conduct was reported on Arbor Way at 11:04 a.m.

An unknown vehicle struck a row of mailboxes in the 600 block Washington Avenue and left the scene at 1:02 p.m.

An officer assisted a citizen on Fifth Avenue at 1:41 p.m.

A fireworks violation was reported in the area of N. Boyer Avenue and Chestnut Street at 5:35 p.m.

Report of a 911 hang-up on Pine Street at 5:46 p.m.

A follow-up report was taken on Ella Avenue at 5:52 p.m.

Michael P. Veneroso, 27, of Post Falls, was arrested in the 477000 block on charges of possession of methampethamine and possession of paraphernalia, and driving without privileges in the Highway 95 area at 8:34 p.m.

An officer assisted Ponderay Police in the 477100 block of Highway 95 at 9:10 p.m.

An officer provided a courtesy transport for an intoxicated male in the 400 block of Fifth Avenue at 9:21 p.m.

Dylan E. Quigley, 24, of Sandpoint, was cited on charges of driving without privileges and misdemeanor no insurance in the area of Hickory Street and Forest Avenue at 11:06 p.m.

Matthew D. Capone, 24, of Dover, was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence in the area of Highway 2 and Lake Street at 11:51 p.m.

Jan. 1

Fireworks were set off in the 700 block of Division Avenue at 12:03 a.m. but had stopped before the officers arrived.

Officers contacted numerous juveniles in the 1600 block of Pine Street and told them to quiet down at 2:02 a.m.

A welfare check was requested on Ella Avenue at 2:29 a.m.

The owners of vehicles in the city were contacted at 2:44 p.m. to move them prior to snow removal.

PONDERAY POLICE

Dec. 31

Officers responded to a welfare check in the 1100 block of Kootenai Cutoff Road at 11:19 a.m.

An animal problem was reported on Kootenai Cutoff Road at 5:23 p.m.

An officer assisted a citizen on Bonner Mall Way at 5:33 p.m.

Nathanial Bryan Grabenstein, 20, was arrested in the 477100 block of Highway 95 at 9:10 p.m. on a misdemeanor warrant and on a charge of possession of controlled substance/marijuana (less than 3 ounces).

An officer responded to an agency assist in the 400 block of W. Second Avenue in Kootenai at 11:35 p.m.

An officer responded to the 476900 block of Highway 95 in reference to a welfare check at 12:27 a.m.
