Casey Gibbs, 22, of Newport, Wash., was arrested at 8:18 a.m. in the 200 block of Fourth Street North in Oldtown on an outstanding warrant.

Report of an alarm in the 1400 block of Wooded Acres Drive in Sagle at 9:51 a.m.

A case was assigned to cover a citizen assist in the 400 block of Rena Road in Oldtown at 9:53 a.m.

Deputies responded to the 473000 block of Highway 95 for a motorist assist at 11:53 a.m.

Deputies responded to the 481000 block of Highway 95 for a reckless vehicle report at 12:14 p.m.

A reckless driver was reported on Highway 95 in the Sagle area at 4:08 p.m.

Report of a 911 hang-up on Terry Trail in Priest River at 5:05 pm.

A case was assigned to cover an attempt to locate a subject on Highway 95 in the Sandpoint sea at 4:45 pm.

Report of an alarm call on Highway 2 in the Priest River area at 6:57 p.m.

Report of a 911 hang-up in the 300 block of Bishops Bay Lane in Sagle at 9:32 p.m.

Report of malicious injury to property in the 470000 block of Highway 95 in Sagle at 10:17 p.m.

Report of an alarm in the Oldtown area on Selkirk Way at 12:18 a.m.

David Porter was arrested in the 600 block of E. Fourth Street N. in Oldtown at 1:38 a.m. on a charge of felon in possession of a firearm; Marcy Grady was arrested at the same time and location on a charge of possession of methamphetamine; and Chad Threlkeld was arrested at the same time and location on a charge of driving without privileges; and Vanessa Kennedy will be charged at a later date with possession of heroin.

Report of a 911 hang-up in the pre-100 block of E. Jackson Avenue in Priest River at 3:05 a.m.

SANDPOINT POLICE

Jan. 2

Owners of numerous vehicles were notified to move their vehicles in anticipation of plowing in the Sixth Avenue area at 7:25 a.m.

A follow-up report was taken on Spruce Street at 9:11 a.m.

A parking situation in the 100 block of S. First Avenue was resolved before the officer arrived after a complaint at 10:07 a.m.

A parking violation was reported in the area of Highway 2 and S. Division Avenue at 10:20 a.m.

An officer answered a citizen’s questions in the 1300 block of Vineyard Drive at 10:42 a.m.

After a complaint of custodial interference on Washington Avenue at 10:57 a.m., parents were advised it would be a good idea to have custody paperwork in place.

A follow-up report was taken in the Pine Street are at 12:45 p.m.

Verbal threats were reported in the 1400 block of Hickory Street at 5:34 p.m.

Shane F. Alderson, 39, of Ford, Wash., was arrested on a charge of driving under the influence in the area of Pine Street and N. Boyer Avenue at 11:39 p.m.

An officer tried to locate the source of new damage to the guard rail on the bypass at 1:33 a.m.

The owner of a vehicle stuck in a snowbank in the 200 block of E. Superior Street was contacted at 4:47 a.m. and advised they will move it later in the day.

Officers responded to a reckless in the 476900 block of Highway 95 at 4:28 p.m.

An officer responded to an alarm activation in the 1200 block of Triangle Drive at 9:06 p.m.

An officer responded to a non-injury crash in the 477800 block of Highway 95 at 10:44 p.m.
