'The Lamb' auditions today

NEWPORT — Auditions are being held today for Pine Ridge Community Church’s upcoming production of “The Lamb”, a contemporary springtime presentation of the Easter Story.

Auditions will take place from 1-3:30 p.m. at the church, 1428 W. First St., Newport.

Parts to be auditioned for are:

• Cassandra: a 9- to 11-year-old actress. Girls auditioning for the part must be accompanied by a parent.

• William: a 5- to 7-year-old actor. Boys auditioning for the part must be accompanied by a parent.

• The doctor: 35- to 55-year-old male or female

• The nurse: 20-plus year-old female

• Mr. Peterson: 35-ish year-old male

• Mrs. Peterson: 35-ish year-old female

• 911 operator: male/female (backstage voice)

If you can’t make the audition, call the director at 509-671-3949 if you want to try out for a part.
