CLARK FORK — Freshman Kobe Banks left considerable ink on the stat page, tallying 20 points, five rebounds, three assists and two steals to lead Clark Fork to a 54-36 win over Lakeside in North Star League boys basketball action Tuesday night at Clark Fork High School.

Senior 6-foot-4 post Spencer Jeffres was a handful on the blocks, posting another double-double with 19 points, 10 boards and four steals, and he also banked in a 3-pointer at the first half buzzer for one of the game’s biggest highlights. The Wampus Cats (4-4, 2-1) put the game away with a 17-4 fourth quarter run.

Wade Stevens was once again a factor defensively, providing strong pressure on the perimeter while finishing with 10 points, two rebounds, two assists and two steals. Hunter Boudousquie added five points and nine boards, and Jensen Heisel three rebounds and two steals for the Cats, who have the pieces to make some noise in league play.
