Shirley Marie Green, 75

Shirley Marie Green, 75, passed away on Friday, Jan. 13, 2017.

Calling hours, for family and friends will be from 3 p.m. until 6 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 19, in Coffelt’s Funeral Chapel. Family memorial services will be held later in the spring.

Shirley was born in Snoqualmie, Wash., on April 9, 1941, where she grew up and attended school. She also attended the Auburn Academy in Auburn, Wash. She married Lloyd Green in Auburn on Oct. 8, 1971, and then moved to Rexburg, Idaho. In 2003, the family moved to the Sandpoint, Idaho, area.

Shirley was a member of the DAV Auxiliary in Coeur d’Alene and the Seventh-day Adventist Church. She enjoyed writing to her pen pals and the friendships that developed.

She is survived by her husband, of 45 years, Lloyd Green of Sand-point; five children, Danny Moore, Ronda Abson. Krish Fort, Jimmy Moore, Ryan Green; and 11 grandchildren. She is also survived by her two brothers, Roger and Sherman Bookter.

She was preceded in death by her parents, George and Margaret Bookter; and her son, Lowell Green.
