SANDPOINT POLICE

Jan. 12

An officer advised that children playing with a phone in the 4100 block of Samuelson Avenue dialed 911 at 7:38 a.m.

A follow-up report was taken in the N. Lincoln Avenue area at 8:15 a.m.

A 911 pocket dial was reported on Oak Street at 9:28 a.m.

A resident in the 300 block of S. Florence Avenue was referred to the phone company to resolve the issue after a civil dispute was reported at 9:37 a.m.

An officer was unable to locate a female in the area of the 500 block of N. Third Avenue after a welfare check request at 10:15 a.m. She was later located at home and was fine.

A suspicious male/vehicle was reported in the 1200 block of Turbine Drive at 10:19 a.m.

After a complaint of a traffic hazard on N. Division Avenue at 11:57 a.m., a vehicle blocking the roadway was gone when the officer arrived.

Report of a 911 pocket dial in the area of Shady Oak Lane and Juniper Drive at 12:35 p.m.

A 17-year-old Sandpoint male was cited in the area of S. Division Avenue and W. Superior Street at 1:12 p.m. on a charge of inattentive driving.

A disabled vehicle had already been moved out of the roadway when the officer arrived after a complaint of a traffic hazard in the area of Oak Street and N. Division Avenue at 2:30 p.m.

Speed patrols requested in the 700 block of N. Division Avenue at 3:35 p.m.

A two-vehicle, non-injury collision was reported in the area of Main Street and N. Division Avenue at 3:47 p.m.

An officer was unable to locate the source of a 911 hang-up call reported in the E. Lake Street area at 4:02 p.m.

Officers assisted the county on an unfounded alarm call on Woodland Drive at 8:11 p.m.

Michael R. Hammack, 49, of Ponderay, was arrested in the area of N. Second Avenue and Main Street at 10:10 p.m. on a charge of felony driving under the influence.

Jan. 12

An officer responded to a reported railroad crossing malfunction on Eastgate Drive at 8:27 a.m.

An officer responded to the 200 block of Upper Humbird Drive to assist another agency at 9:17 a.m.

An officer responded to a report of harassment in the 800 block of Kootenai Cutoff Road at 9:48 a.m.

An officer responded to a report of an alarm activation in the 200 block of Larkspur Street at 10:39 a.m.

An officer responded to a report of a traffic hazard in the 477900 block of Highway 95 at 12:25 p.m.

An officer assisted a citizen in the 500 block of Kootenai Cutoff Road at 3:27 p.m.

An officer received an informational call in the 30100 block of Highway 200 at 1:34 p.m.

An officer responded to the 476500 block of Highway 95 in reference to theft reported at 6:12 p.m.

After an officer conducted a traffic stop in the parking lot of Walmart on Highway 95 at 8:13 p.m., James P. Bennett 33, was arrested on a Bonner County warrant for failure to appear.

PRIEST RIVER POLICE

Jan. 12

Officers responded to assist another agency on Dufort Road at 4:45 p.m.

An officer assisted Bonner County Sheriff’s deputies on a call in the 9000 block of Kelso Lake Road at 4:53 p.m.

A reckless driver was reported in the area of Highway 2 and N. Mckinley Street at 9:03 p.m.
