Investigation finds school threat unfounded

Lake Pend Oreille School District found no credible threat after reports on social media that a student had made a threat at Lake Pend Oreille High School.
District officials said students had been discussing school shootings in general, and their fears about such things, and their conversation was overheard and misconstrued. The conversation was reported and the district investigated.
