NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Bonner County Commissioners will hold a public hearing at 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, January 25, 2017, in the 3rd Floor BOCC Meeting Room, Suite 338 of the Bonner County Administration Building, 1500 Highway 2, Sandpoint, Idaho, to consider the following petition: File VS1863-16 - Kaniksu Boat Launch - Mike & Roberta Williams are seeking an approval to allow for vacation of a Right-of-Way, with the intent to swap the vacated land on one side with an equal amount of private land on the other. This would have the effect of relocating the Right-of-Way slightly to the south, to match the actual location of the existing road as it has always existed. No physical development or modification of the land is proposed. The right-of-way is located in the Nordman Community on the west side of Priest Lake, located in Section 16, Township 61 North, Range 4 West, Boise Meridian. It is east of the intersection of South Granite Bay Road and Jim Low Road. The subject property is zoned RECREATION (REC). CITY OF EAST HOPE, IDAHO SUMMARY OF ORDINANCE NO. 278 FLOOD DAMAGE PREVENTION The City of East Hope, Idaho, hereby gives notice of the adoption of East Hope Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance No. 278, repealing Ordinance No. 248, Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance, and replacing it with a new Flood Damage Prevention Ordinance to: enact a revised flood damage prevention ordinance that reflects the requirements of the National Flood Insurance Program; establish standards and administrative procedures; adopt a base flood elevation of 2,074.0 feet for Zone A; establish appeals and variance processes, provide a maximum penalty for violations of $1,000 or 6 months in jail or both; create exceptions for low-cost accessory structures; and providing severability; and providing that the ordinance be effective upon the publication of this summary.
