(Photo by CAROLINE LOBSINGER) A few of the 800-1,000 people taking part in the Sandpoint/North Idaho Community March make their way down Bridge Street in the snow from the Panida Theater to the Statue of Liberty at City Beach. Organizers said the grassroots community gathering was focused on making a positive difference in everything from environmental protection, human/women’s rights, economic/social justice, and building a welcoming community. The event was sponsored by the Grassroots Community March Committee.
