Forget hibernating, there's lots of fun to be had

| January 26, 2017 12:00 AM

SANDPOINT — Wait a minute — whatever happened to that old idea about winter being a time to hibernate and kick back? If anything, the Arts & Enter-tainment calendar this week will make absolutely sure that’s not happening!

We come out with a bang starting tonight, with a great teen flick at the Panida — which is free for teens, by the way. There’s a feature film on the big screen later in the evening, plus another Thursday singer-songwriter night at MickDuff’s Beer Hall. Also Thursday, down in Post Falls, Sandpoint’s own guitar vituoso Leon Atkinson hosts a special guitar concert with Martha Masters as part of his ongoing Friends of the Guitar Hour Concert Series at the Jacklin Arts & Cultural Center.

And that’s only Thursday, mind you!

Forge ahead, gentle reader, for more stuff to keep you jumping through the weekend and beyond.
