We now have a president who is a five-time draft dodger. Over 40,000 U.S. servicemen died in Vietnam serving America. Trump chose five deferments over serving his country.

As a veteran I find it disturbing that millions of veterans voted for Trump, who, after receiving his deferments, skied, golfed and chased women.

Yes, while Americans were dying in Vietnam, Trump was skiing, golfing and chasing women, thanks to his five deferments.

To those of you veterans who receive VA health care benefits and voted for Trump, if Trump does privatize the VA, as he says he wants to, you will be paying much more out of pocket for your health care benefits.

As for the current VA Choice Program, co-pay is currently required. This is the foot in the door for the privatization of the VA.

Every time something is privatized, that something ends up costing, those using it, much more.

So, if you are a veteran who voted for Donald Trump, you have only yourself to blame when your VA benefits cost you more out of pocket.

Oh yeah, you can kiss goodbye the travel pay to a VA facility that you currently receive.
