Elks hosting Fourth barbecue

SANDPOINT — If you’re hungry this Fourth of July, the Sandpoint Elks have your back.

The Elks are holding a “Barbecue on the Beach” fundraiser. The barbecue, which will take place at Sandpoint City Beach, will kick off at 10:30 a.m. and run until 7:30 p.m. — while supplies last.

On the menu is the barbecue ribs combo, featuring a pound of tasty ribs, and corn on the cob or chips for $8; or the barbecue burger combo, featuring a burger (with or without cheese) and corn on the cob or chips for $6. Soda and water will be sold for $2.

All proceeds will go toward the club’s many charitable programs, including dictionaries, garden project, scholarships, drug awareness, veterans, and more.
