IMPROVISED ELECTRIC COOKER

A Sandpoint lady, with only herself to cook for, has found it practicable to use her electric flatiron for cooking small dishes, making tea, etc., thus saving the trouble and expense of heating up her range with a wood fire. She turns the flatiron bottom upward upon her kitchen table, placing a brick upon each side to hold the iron from tipping. A few minutes after pressing the button her little stove is ready for business, and does its work as quickly and well as any range ever made.
