In the evening, dances were also given at the Knights of Pythias hall, the Rink opera house and the Farmers’ union hall on Lake street.

TO ORGANIZE FOOD SAVING CLUB

At the Methodist church Sunday a committee was appointed to take steps to organize a Hoover saving club. This is by no means original with Sandpoint, as it is being taken up all over the country as a housewives’ forum to discuss ways and means of saving food waste in the kitchen. The committee named to promote the organization is composed of Mrs. Earl D. Farmin, Mrs. M.L. Bruce and Mrs. W.M. Hollembaek.
