HOPE — The husband of Bonner County woman who was killed in an unsolved homicide is offering a $5,000 reward for information that leads to the arrest and conviction of those responsible for her death.

Daryl Ramey’s reward offer was posted to the Bonner County sheriff’s Facebook page. Tips can be called into the sheriff’s office by phoning 208-255-COPS.

Shirley Ramey, 78, was found shot to death in her Trestle Creek home on April 5. Shell casings from a 9-milimeter were found at the scene, according to court documents.

Her former neighbor was accused of perpetrating the killing, but was released from custody after investigators determined he had a verifiable alibi. The man was hospitalized out of state.

Daryl Ramey was cleared as a suspect and burglary was ruled out as a motive because nothing had reportedly been taken, according to court documents.
