July 17

A 911 hang-up call in the 200 block of S. Division Avenue at 9:02 a.m. turned out to be a medical emergency handled by EMS.

A credit card was turned in as found property in the 1100 block of Michigan Street at 9:58 a.m.

After a reported hazard at 10:30 a.m., officers advised the traffic signal at Fifth and Larch had already been set to flashing mode.

Cherri S. Zirjacks, 44, of Oldtown, was cited in the area of Highway 2 and Olive Avenue at 11:08 a.m. on a charge of driving without privileges.

An officer contacted Fish & Game in reference to a possibly injured osprey on Sandpoint Avenue at 1:36 p.m.

A vehicle with several dogs inside was gone prior to the officer’s arrival in the 500 block of N. Third Avenue after a complaint at 2:04 p.m.

Information was relayed to law enforcement on W. Lake Street at 4:20 p.m.

A battery was reported in the 600 block of N. Boyer Avenue at 5:45 p.m.; the victim did not want to press charges.

Officers looked for three juveniles on bikes causing a traffic hazard in the area of Oak Street and N. Boyer Avenue at 6:03 p.m.

Officers spoke to a male causing problems in the 1500 block of Oak Street and calmed him down at 6:47 p.m.

An intoxicated 46-year-old Bonners Ferry male causing problems in the 200 block of E. Superior Street was taken on a detox hold at 6:59 p.m.

An officer advised there was no damage after a deer-versus-vehicle accident on Fifth Avenue at 9:30 p.m.

Officers checked the area around Walnut Street and N. Division Avenue but could find nothing out of the ordinary after a report of suspicious circumstances at 10:50 p.m.
