(Photo by ERIC PLUMMER) A runner competes in the first Wampus Cat Marathon last year. The second Wampus Cat Marathon will take place on Sunday, July 30,with participants still able to sign up on the morning of the race. The marathon starts at the Elks Golf Course at 6:45 a.m., the half marathon starts at Trestle Creek at 7:45 a.m., and the 5K race starts 3.1 miles west of Clark Fork at 9:45 a.m. Check-in and late registration starts 15 minutes before each race.
