Lady Bulldogs Basketball Camp tips off next week

SANDPOINT — Any and all area girls who will be heading into the 4th-7th grades next year and want to get better at basketball are encouraged to attend the annual Sandpoint Lady Bulldogs Basketball Camp starting on Wednesday, June 14.

The three-day skills camp, run by Bulldog varsity coaches and players, will take place from 3:30-5:30 p.m. each day at SHS. Each participant receives a basketball and a T-shirt, to go with three fun days of hoops.

Registration forms will be available next week at the front desk at SHS. Players can register the day of the camp as well by showing up early.

Cost of the camp is $40, with all proceeds going toward the girls hoop program.

Sandpoint is also taking four teams to a three day camp at the University of Montana starting on Monday. Sixth grade, middle school, JV and varsity teams will represent the emerging Bulldog program at the camp.

Former Bulldog Madi Schoening started as a true freshman for the Lady Griz last season.
