Housing forum set for June 20

SANDPOINT — Area residents are invited to take part in the Bonner Community Housing Agency’s upcoming housing forum on June 20.

The BCHA Housing Forum will take place at the Columbia Bank Community Room, 414 Church, Sandpoint. The forum will be held from 10 a.m.-3 p.m. and features a variety of local and regional speakers discussing the topic of housing in Bonner County. Among those taking part are United Way, Idaho Department of Labor, Sandpoint Property Management, Selkirk Association of Realtors, Neighborworks Pocatello, and Bonner Community Housing Agency.

The forum will feature information on the unique housing needs in Bonner County including forecasts for what is on the horizon, and provide opportunities for community awareness, ideation, and activation. The ability to serve the housing needs in Bonner County will require a coordinated group effort and clear actionable goals.

Registration is limited, and lunch is provided for all attendees.
