Clark Fork HS hosting two-day volleyball camp

SANDPOINT — There is still time to sign up for the R and B Volleyball Camp at Clark Fork High School, offering area players the chance to receive college coaching on June 28-29.

Matt Dyck, an assistant volleyball coach at Eastern Washington University, will be joined by Clark Fork head coach Cindy Derr and other coaches for the two-day skills camp. The camp is open to players from 7 years-old through high school, and will run each day from 9-11 a.m. and noon-1:30 p.m. Cost of the camp is $60.

“I’m excited for our camp. Several college coaches come up and do it,” said Derr, noting a host of Clark Fork players are taking part. “We have 15 girls signed up from Clark Fork and six girls from Noxon High School. This spring we had some Noxon girls come down and play with our club teams.”

Derr is hoping more players from the area take advantage of a fun opportunity to improve. Act fast, as the camp starts in one week.
