Ultimate Frisbee league offers up fast paced fun

| June 21, 2017 1:00 AM

SANDPOINT — Any and all area residents ages 16 years-old and up are welcome to get a really good workout while playing a fun game this summer.

The Sandpoint Ultimate league plays every Monday and Thursday night from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Travers Park or Great Northern Field.

Ultimate Frisbee is a non-contact active sport full of fast-paced action and is very aerobic. This league is co-ed and all skill levels are encouraged to participate.

The game is played on a football-size field and teams advance the disc through the air until a team finally catches the final throw in the end zone, which scores a point.

Teams are usually 7-on-7, with subs always needed. Players can join in a game at any time.
