Youth lacrosse clinics offered

SANDPOINT — Join Cutthroat Lacrosse and Sandpoint Parks and Rec to learn one of the fastest growing sports around in a pair of three-day clinics July.

Participants will learn the basics of the game, including stick skills, throwing, and all the fun aspects that makes lacrosse such a great sport. Sticks and all other equipment will be provided for participants to use during the clinic.

Session No. 1, for 3rd and 4th graders, will be held on July 17, 19 and 20, from 9-11 a.m. each day at Great Northern Park. The registration deadline for Session No. 1 is June 30.

Session No. 2, for 5th and 6th graders, will be held on July 24, 26 and Aug. 2, from 9-11 a.m. each day at Great Northern Park. The deadline to register for Session No. 2 is July 7.

The cost is $37/child ($2 in-city limit discount) for each session. Online registration is available at www.sandpointidaho.gov/parksrecreation.
