Betty Lou Miller, 82

Betty Lou Miller, 82, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 25, 2017, in Sandpoint, Idaho.

Private family services have been held. Interment will take place at Pinecrest Memorial Park in Sandpoint.

Betty was born on April 19, 1934, in Sanders, Idaho, to William and Goldie Schofield. At age 10, she moved to Spokane, Wash-ington, where she completed her schooling. She married Robert Miller and attended beauty school in Coeur d’Alene.

In 1953, the couple moved to Sandpoint, and Betty worked as a beautician. She also cleaned several doctor and dental offices, including Dr. Madsen’s dental office.

She enjoyed gardening, canning, sewing, embroidery, and her many animals, including cats, dogs and birds.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Robert; and close friend, Louise Olensleger.

She is survived by friend and neighbor, Carrie Thompson.
