On 2/07/2017 Litehouse Cheese had a violation of Sandpoint's Municipal Sewer Ordinance for discharging approximately 500-700 gallons of whey from a tanker truck into the city storm drain. Per city code each violation requires a minimum $250 to $1000 maximum fine and recovery of any costs to the city.
