Synchronized swimming classes offered at SWAC

SANDPOINT — If you like dancing, gymnastics and swimming, then Sandpoint West Athletic Club has some exciting news.

The SWAC is now offering synchronized swimming classes, the same sport that is seen every year during the summer Olympics, and encourages anyone interested in trying something new to come check it out.

The pre-requisites are that participants must be at least 8 tears-old and have the ability to swim 25 meters front crawl, back crawl and breaststroke.

Classes will be held at the SWAC pool on Fridays, March 10, 17, 24 and 31, from 3:30– 4:30 p.m. The class fee is $40 for SWAC members and $55 for non-members. There is a minimum of three and a maximum of eight participants in this class, so register early to guarantee your spot. Pre-register in person at the SWAC (1905 W. Pine Street).
