I have the best job in the world. I’m a teacher. For 24 years, parents have entrusted me to teach, guide, and mentor their children. I’ve loved, cried, laughed and shared many wonderful moments with my students. I couldn’t do what I do without the support of our community. Our community has always been a giving one and has supported the levies for the past 17 years. It is time to continue to show your support by voting yes.

Not only am I employed by LPOSD, but I also own a house and pay taxes. That is part of what it means to be a contributing member of society and my community. For me, I will pay an additional $10 a year.

These kids are our future. We need to educate them and send them out into society with the best hope for a successful life. That is what every teacher wants. A yes vote means our community wins. It means our kids win. I’m voting yes because I support my current students and all the students yet to come.
