Say yes to the renewal of the Lake Pend Oreille School District levy.

America has been proud of our heritage of educating our children. It is the one “gift” our government gives us. However, the convoluted way in which money gets to our schools is no gift to anyone.

This renewal levy will raise my property taxes just about $36 a year. That is the cost of one dinner, out on the town. We can all afford this.

There are a few among us locally who would rather spew inconsistent misinformed personal opinion statements than find out the facts.

Please know that this levy is essential for the smooth continual operation of all LPOSD schools. There are no other facts needed.

I am supporting this levy renewal. I do not even have children. I do not need to have children, in order to want to support the education of all children, in this country and this county.

I am doing the right thing by voting yes on the levy renewal.
