Group hosting writing contest

Do you have an undiscovered writing talent? To find out, bring your work to the community writing contest, to be held Saturday, March 18 at the Library.

The contest is open to writers of all ages — children welcome — and includes fiction, non-fiction and poetry. Each writer has up to 5 minutes to read his or her piece. After all entries have been read, the audience votes for the winners. The gathering, which begins at 9 a.m., also features a complimentary potluck breakfast, hosted by the Sandpoint Chapter of the Idaho Writers League.
