SANDPOINT — The hilarious musical comedy “Once Upon a Mattress” opening continues its run this week at the Panida. Friday is St. Patrick’s Day, with oodles of live music, including a show with Neighbor John & Robert Crader in Hope! Saturday is chock full of activity, which includes a Bridges Home Celtic concert in Newport.

If you’re a writer, check out the Idaho Writers League writing contest on Saturday morning at the library. We also look ahead into next week, which brings the Yonder Mountain String Band to The Hive, another installment in the Friends of the Guitar Hour classical guitar concert series and a community social dance at Community Hall.
