Pair to speak at KNPS meeting

On Saturday, March 25, Kinnikinnick Native Plant Society / Sandpoint Parks and Recreation presentation, “Inspiring Conservation,” 9:45-11:30 a.m. at Sandpoint Community Hall. Speaking are educator Kristin Fletcher and conservationist Bonnie Jakubos.

Fletcher is a place-based educator, and has worked an interpretive guide and held administrative positions with the Idaho Museum of Natural History and the Idaho Environmental Education Association. She is currently the education director for Sawtooth Botanical Garden near Ketchum.

Jakubos has worn many hats, including active conservationist, illustrator, interpretive guide, interpretive trainer, and outdoor educator. She lived in several western states before moving to Idaho 20 years ago. She spent nearly a decade as a wildlife biologist with the Bureau of Land Management.
