Group offering scholarship

The Bonner-Boundary County Cattlewomen and Cattlemen are offering a $1,000 scholarship to a college student entering their junior or senior year of college.

The student is required to be attending an Idaho college, in any major, but must be able to show a significant impact on the beef industry.

Then Cattlewomen are proud of the success story behind the scholarship as this is the 31st year it has been offered. All past recipients have received degrees, including veterinarians, teachers, animal science, business, nutrition, and two who are currently in college.

Applications are available at the Bonner County Extension Office or the Boundary County Extension Office and must be returned by May 1.
